Message	tranny speed sensor or the dash cluster guage. Apparently the sensor feeds to the cluster guage which then goes into the steering system. Is the car's speedo working OK? Nice and steady, not jumping around? Others here may be able to help -- I never heard of a steering control unit on our cars?
